A table designed by Franco Poli
Matteograssi
Haussmann table
Like an architectural masterpiece that filtrates light through a solid mass, the Matteograssi Haussmann table designed by Franco Poli, beats every design expectation for a table. A solid piece of white lasa marble; the top folds inwards down to the junction of the two polished bases creating a visual cyclonic effect. The table itself contradicts mass and void, creating abstract shapes of light and shadow on the surface below. Needs rather a large dining or conference space since the top measures 270 x 110 cm but overall a great alternative to a conventional table.
